Callie and Lynea sit down with Kevin Qualls, a senior adoption director from a prestigious adoption agency, to explore the option of adoption and discuss strategies for supporting women facing an unexpected pregnancy. They cover topics such as what a typical day looks like at an adoption agency, what women and men should know about choosing the right agency to work with, and how to support mothers and fathers facing unexpected pregnancies when they choose adoption. They also discuss ways to encourage Pregnancy Resource Centers, pro-life advocates, and the church to engage with the topic of modern adoption, as well as how staff and volunteers at Pregnancy Resource Centers and churches can be educated on ethical adoption practices and the importance of embracing birth parents.
